PBS PRIDE
On Thursday January fifth, second graders and their teacher, Mr. Burch, sang and acted out their interpretation of the Cowell school PRIDE. What a great New Year resolution.
PRIDE is our school Behavior plan. Each letter is explained below.
P-repared: Organize all materials; Be ready to work and learn
R-espectul: Take charge of your own behavior and learning
I-ntegrity: Be honest; Follow classroom rules
D-etermined: Meet the challenge; work successfully with others; Ask for help; Do not give up; be persistent!
E-ffort: Try your hardest; Problem solve; Use all your resources
All Cowell students are able to recite and explain the meaning of each letter in the word PRIDE.
