4th Grade Music Lessons

For 4th grade students who would like to learn to play a band instrument, Ms. Costley, the music teacher, is offering free group lessons on the following days:

  • Mondays from 3-3:45pm: Flute Class
  • Tuesdays from 3-3:45pm: Clarinet Class
  • Thursdays from 3-3:45pm: Trumpet Class
  • Fridays from 3-3:45pm: Trombone Class

All lessons will take place in the music room. Instruments are on a first come, first serve basis. 4th graders are not allowed to take instruments home, but if the students continue on to 5th grade band, 5th grade band students are allowed to bring band instruments home after completing an instrument contract.

Google Sketchup

Google Sketchup is a powerful Architectural program used by many professional Architects today. This powerful program allows children and their IMAGINATION to create just about anything. They can design your dream house, a spaceship, or a space station. Students can even create their very own skate-park! The only limit is their IMAGINATION!
We welcome all 4th and 5th grade students to participate.

Kane Jessen a TechKnow Core instructor with DPS Extended Learning will be working together with Mrs. Coffman in the computer lab on Thursdays from 3:00pm to 4:30pm to implement the Google Sketchup course with 4th and 5th graders.
